This edition of the Voice includes an article eulogizing Richard Forman Evans, a College of Wooster sophomore who passed away due to injuries from a football game. Under Campus Notes, various articles are featured including an up and coming "Oratorical Contest," and the "Senior Stag?" which is about the two seniors who hosted a party for the women of the 1908 class considered the better half of the class of 1908. The Editorial applauds the younger classes for their wonderful treatment of the senior class of 1908.

Another article describes an entertainment filled evening held for the Sophomores by honorary staff member Professor Bennett. The Editorial briefly discusses the end of the football season, and the upcoming basketball season. Later in the paper, an article informs the student body of the new orator that was selected through an oratorical contest.

"A Plea for Our Campus," is about the campus asking students not to create their own paths and to stay off the landscaping. In "An Early Thanksgiving East," the sophomore class set up a pig roast. "The Alumni and Their Endowment Fund," is about alumni raising all but fourteen hundred dollars of their twenty five thousand dollar fund for endowment. In "Senior Stag," the bi-weekly Senior Stag Dinner was thrown. "Dr. Dawson's Lecture," is about Dr. W. J. Dawson of London being the third speaker of the lecture course.

"A Matter of Great Importance," is about the search for a graduate manager of Athletics. In "President Holden Entertains," President and Mrs. Holden invited the class of 1911 for a gathering. "Oratorio Concert," is about the Oratorio Chorus getting ready to present The Messiah. In "Basket Ball Schedule," Graduate Manager St. John and Manager Steele announced the schedule for basket ball games. "A Word for the Index," is about the editors encouraging people to send in material to the Index Box.

"The Origin of the Great College Game," is feature on the brief history of football. In "Men Who Fought for the Black and Gold," a list of various football players are listed. "A Review of the season," is a overlook at all of the games of the season. In "Beta Initiation and Reunion," the Beta House commenced the annual initiation. "Prof. Vance Returns," is about Prof. J. Milton Vance returning to the department of Biblical instruction after a leave of absence due to illness.

Edwin B. Townsend won Wooster's Preliminary Oratorical Contest and will go on to represent the school at the state contest. Oberlin beat Wooster in basketball. Dr. Scovel's 70th birthday was celebrated. A debate was held concerning self-governance in the Philippines. Nick Amster Clothier placed a large advertisement for their sale.

Lorado Taft, a noted sculptor from Chicago gave a lecture at the College. Wooster beat Kenyon in basketball. The Wooster Y.M.C.A. organized 'Life-Work Meetings.' The College called for more involvement in athletic life. Professor J. Lawrence Erb released a biography he had written on Johannes Brahms.

Wooster observed a day of prayer for colleges. The 'Big Nine' schools met and talked about a radical reform to end football programs for 2 years unless regulations are adjusted. Wooster beat Oberlin in basketball. Harvard authorities suspended football at the University until rules are changed.

Wooster's speaker Edwin B. Townsend won first place at the Ohio Intercollegiate Oratorical Contest. Second place went to Wittenberg and third place to Hiram. The first girls basketball game of the season was played. Irish Immigrants presented in a derogatory manner in jokes under the 'Jests and Jingles' section.

May 1st, also known as 'Color Day' is observed for the second year in a row at the College. There is an essay on 'American Altruism,' with a portion dedicated to Spanish rule over Cuba. Two new songs dedicated to the College were composed. Wooster participated in an Interstate Oratorical Competition, representing Ohio. However, Ohio received last place. Edwin B. Townsend read his essay on 'American Altruism.'

Kenyon won over Wooster in a debate, however Wooster beat Muskingum. The debate focused on calling upon the Hague Tribunal to settle disputes between nations. Wooster varsity won against Denison in baseball.

Wooster students smoked peace pipes to honor Native American tribes. The Voice hired a new editor and business manager. The events for the graduation ceremony are written out, as well as a list of graduating students and their degrees to be conferred. The class of 1906 put on Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.' Photographs of graduating students are included in this issue. Wooster defeated Kenyon in football. There were agitations in favor of a Co-ed literary society, instead of many separate ones.

This issue opens with a recount of the inauguration of the thirty-seventh year of the college. Students, faculty, and visitors congregated in the chapel for the inaugural ceremony, hosted by Dr. Holden. An article outlining faculty changes for the academic year follows on the second page. There is also a large article detailing the new buildings and construction on campus. The article focuses on the construction of Frick (now Timken) Library, and mentions briefly the construction of a new girl's dormitory called Oak Cottage. This issue of the newspaper ends with information about athletics and athletic events, and a number of advertisements from local businesses.
