This edition of the Wooster Voice begins with an announcement about Dr. Cook. On April 21st, 1908, Dr. Frederick Cook went to the North Pole and planted an American flag in the soil there. After this announcement, there is a poem by Waldo H. Dunn on the subject of planting a flag in a polar environment. The opening article for this issue depicts the convocation of 1909 and the introduction to the class of 1913. An article discussing the new football coach follows on the pages after. The issue ends with advertisements for a number of local businesses.

This is the first issue of the Wooster Voice 1909-10. "Rules of the Pan-Hellenic Association of Sororities," is a featured list of rules for possible incoming members. In "The Volunteer Band," invites students to open meetings of the World's Student Volunteer Movement. The last few pages features the names of either students or staff.

This issue features the first meeting of the year for the Conservatory Association , an article advertising the virtues of the Debate team and appealing to the freshmen to join, an address by Dr. Scovel, and a series of bullets on the lives and accomplishments of various Wooster Alumni, with a focus on those alumni who became reverends.There is also a satire detailing a visit to the football practice by the Greek philosopher Aristotle who compares the sport and practice to those of his own day. Page 7 features an amusingly outdated advertisement for a cutting edge type of tire.

"High School Dedication," Wooster city high school was opened with a dedication ceremony. In "Hark: A Woman Writes: Make Matches New Way," contains a feminist condemnation of the "match" system. "Glee Club Notice," is about the reorganization of the Male Glee Club.

This issue features a review of Nordica, a musician, a call for Christian missionaries in short service in study abroad programs, a report on the parties of Wooster, alumni updates and an obituary, a heavily detailed description of a football game between Wooster and Heidelberg, a piece arguing against local voting practices, and a description of the University of Pennsylvania's problems and attempted solution for declining church attendance. Page 5 features an advertisement for an upcoming concert in Wooster of a band with 60 members, and features the photos of the two managers of the Ellery Band. The debate team held a debate over the statement, "Resolved: That corporal punishment is a greater factor in a school than love." with the affirmative side winning.

The author argues that segregation is just, arguing: "Although he [the "black man" in general] may never aspire to social or political equality he may yet gain and retain the respect of the southern people."
