The paper discuses a production of "Two Blind Mice" produced by the Little Theater. The Women's Self- Government Association departures from "right conduct," a consequent protest petition was signed by 68 women. In preparation for Week of Prayer, Westminster Fellowship institutes a series of programs called "The Greatest Questions in Modern Life." The new art studio on campus moves ceramics to Galpin Hall. Dr. Carl F. Wittke, dean pf the graduate school of Western Reserve University lectures on "The Changing Concepts of History." Additionally, the issue includes a report on new dorm rules.

The campus plans on installing private phones for all department offices and a central switchboard to operate the new phones. The edition recaps success of the annual Gum Shoe Hop. Dr. Winford Sharp offers a twelve-week training course for the improvement of comprehension and speed in reading. There is a small article noting the appointment of the last-ever Wooster-In-India delegate, Charles Croghan. The reason for the program's likely termination is given as policy from the new Indian government on speaking only HIndustani in schools. Additionally, Wooster continues the over 50 year tradition of the Week of Prayer.

Wooster upperclassmen nominate six contestants for May Queen. The theme for the annual Week of Prayer is "Christianity as a Choice." Two Wooster students are journeying via freighter ship to explore eastern countries, from Iran to India, with their first stop being Egypt. Two articles explore current British politics, as well as the possibility of and methods of dealing with - a third world war. A meeting discusses a possible joint operation of the college radio station by the speech department and the Student Senate. Carol Jean Ross, Wooster sophomore, wins oratorical contest at Denison University. Additionally, the issue advertises the Men's Glee Club tour.

Wooster Board of Trustees approves a proposed smoking room in lower Kauke. Student Senate agrees to joint ownership with the speech department over the college radio station. The National Student Association wins the financial support of Student Senate. Eight Wooster students travel to Case Institute to compete in the annual northeastern Ohio debate conference Varsity Tournament. There is a small article on the UFO craze beginning to sweep the nation, focusing on a supposed sighting at the nearby (and now infamous for such reasons) Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Increasing deterioration of US-Russia relations is noted in an article. Phi Beta Kappa and the office of the deans announce the names of students credited with high academic achievements. Additionally, the issue includes a review the one act Week of Prayer play, "The Thinker."

The Josephine Wishart Museum of Art features an exhibit by the Nineteenth Century French lithographer, Honore Daumier. The Student Chapter of the Music Educator's National Conference elects Joyce Heath as their president. Additionally, President Howard Lowry releases his book "The Mind's Adventure."

This newspaper also includes an article which discussed the recently assured freedom assigned to the Women’s self government to act on a proposed change in the enforcement of the College drinking rule. Wanda Necrasz, Polish student at the college, tells her story of being imprisoned in a German prison camp during WWII in the section titled: "I Can't Forget." Sixteen students came back from winter break, and one couple already tied the knot. Athletic updates for the past week are featured on the third page. Johnny Swigart announced his resignation as head football coach over winter break, he will instead be coaching baseball.
