This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the fall of 2010. Karol Crosbie begins the magazine with an article about Billy Clyde’s special education students that had visited campus and made chalk art. 626 first year students were welcomed to campus this fall. A section titled "Special Educators" highlights alumni working as teachers in various areas: Tom Gilbert '73, David Coogan '90, Holly Water Kerby '77, Conya Doss '92, and Billy Clyde '73. The next section of the magazine features some bagpipers before and after Wooster. "Dogs With Purpose" follows the bagpiping section. This section highlights alumni that are working with dogs: Cameron Maneese ’79, Tom Van Cleef ’83, Liz Fridley ’12, and Jim and Jane Wallace Anderson ’51. One tradition that no longer exists, beanies, is discussed next.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the spring of 2010. Grant and Peg Cornwell begin this edition with an article about seeking help from professors. A drawing of the new physical education center that will open in 2012 is on page four. The Alumni News section is from page eight to ten. Chuck Hurst and David McConnell discuss their book about the Amish of Holmes County from page eleven to twenty-one. The section to follow is titled, "Reshaping the American dream," and it features Diane Houk ’81 and Erika Poethig ’93. Jonathan Partee '91 writes about teaching physics at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. The section on legacy students closes the magazine.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the summer of 2010. The first article highlights how students use photography, sculpture, music, and scenic design to illuminate their research, six students are featured in this section. The second piece focuses on Wooster’s choral tradition, including the past and present of the program. Finally, the last feature tells the story of a man and his quest to preserve the covered bridges of Northeast Ohio. The Oak Grove and Alumni News sections can be found at the beginning of the issue, while the Class Notes section can be found at the end of the issue.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the winter of 2010. One of the program houses is highlighted on page six, the members crochet hats for three local human service agencies. Alumni working in the judicial system as judges are featured from page eight to seventeen: Rod Kennedy '77, David Dowd '51, Solomon Oliver Jr. ’69, Denise Reilly '75, Lance Mason '89. Pages eighteen to twenty-one highlight those alumni that are working in the Supremes: Ben Mizer '99 and Paul de Marco '81. Betty and David Wilkin have transferred ownership of Fern Valley to the college to be used for IS, classes, and other academic needs. The Davis Memorial Organ is highlighted in the next section.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the Fall of 2009. The magazine begins with an article about Anne Welsh, the widow of Norman Morrison '56, who spoke recently on campus about her late husbands sacrifice in protest of the Vietnam War. Babcock Hall reopened this fall after renovations, there are photos from it before and after the renovation from page four to five. Hannah Samuell's IS is highlighted on page eight and nine. Stephen Donaldson '68 and Duncan Jones '95 are featured as storytellers in writing books and movie scripts. The preservation of the Oak Grove is explained from page sixteen to twenty-one. Norman Morrison is again reflected on from page twenty-three to thirty-one.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the spring of 2009. The article that begins the magazine is by editor Karol Crosbie about how she and the assistant editor, Jimmy Wilkinson Meyer, revamped the magazine's office with less than $400. Wayne Cornelius, Cyndy Tice, and Jay Gates will receive Distinguished Alumni Awards during Alumni Weekend. Five alumni are featured with their unifying topic of 'driving forces.' The Chinese studies program is featured from page twenty to twenty-five. Twins that are currently attending Wooster are highlighted from page twenty-six to thirty-one.

The magazine begins with an article by Sandy Eyre Nichols '94 regarding the launch of the online networking system for alumni. Ric Martinez, Ishwar Harris, and Donna Jacobs have all recently retired. Highlights from alumni weekend are on page seven. Seven students that received a grant from the Copeland Fund are featured. Will Lange '57 reflects on the last speech he heard Robert Frost give at the college in 1962, months before his death. A section on water access and safety is from page twenty-three to thirty-one.

Five professors are featured for their balance of research and teaching: Josephine Wright, John Lindner, Amber Garcia, Jeff Roche, and Sharon Lynn. The life of Frank Carpenter is detailed from page sixteen to twenty-three. William Chancellor's murky story is told from page twenty-four to twenty-seven. Five Wooster alumni who were married after the age of sixty are featured next in the magazine.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the fall of 2008. The director of libraries Damon Hickey retired this summer after working at the college for seventeen years. The class of 2012 is welcomed to campus. Joe Biden visited campus mid September. The newest dorm to open on campus, Gault Manor, is the new standard for living at the college. Five entrepreneurial alumni are featured from page twelve to twenty-one: Andrew Baird '84, Rashmi Ekka '08, Adam Goldfeder '93, Deb Behrens '80, and Asad Khan '93. Twelve faculty members reestablished the old connections with India last summer, this trip is detailed from page twenty-two to thirty-one.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the spring of 2008. This issue covers alumni and faculty that have devoted their professional lives to animals. An article on Wooster's Moot Court is on the fourth page. Communication major, Chris Nixon '08, served dinner to five guests as the creative component of his Independent Study. Dale Brown, Chuck Hampton, and Barbara Hampton are all retiring at the end of this school year. The following faculty and alumni are featured for working with animals professionally: Carrie Myers Felice '97, Todd Naelitz '02, Claudia Thompson, Shawn Sweeney '06, Grey Stafford '88, and Nancy McCarthy '59. The college's radio station, Woo 91, is highlighted from page twenty-two to twenty-seven. Legacy students from the Class of 2011 are featured on the final pages.

Jack Russell, Chuck Hurst and Bill Scott have retired. A Neuroscience major is being added this fall. Three alumni were awarded the Distinquished Allumni Award during alumni weekend: Katharine Doob Sakenfeld '61, Dr. Gary Reichard '65, and Dr. Alpha Alexander '76. Alumni who work in fields related to religious studies have articles in which they discuss their job. Wooster in Tuscany, a summer study abroad organized by Madonna Hettinger of the history department, is next in the magazine. Class Notes concludes the magazine (30-61).

Patrice Smith is featured for donating a kidney to a stranger and then getting back to leading the noon exercise class within two weeks. Nancy McCarthy '59 travels the world to photograph people, animals, and the surrounding landscape. President Stan Hales said goodbye to alumni in thirty cities over a four month period. Students whose Independent Studies were focused in Environmental Studies are highlighted from page twelve to nineteen. A new mascot has joined campus in the form of the Fighting Scot, MacLeod. In an attempt to revive Delbert Lean's tradition of reading A Christmas Carol, Iain Crawford narrated the story in Cleveland. A section titled "The Art Quilters" is from page twelve to twenty-one. The following section highlights four alumni who serve the capital in some form: Gordon Lubold '87, Scott Denman '78, Lauren Bell '94, and Donald Kohn '64. This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the summer of 2006. Sally Whitman's 13 year journey on completing her bachelors degree is featured on page three. Students will no longer be registering for classes in person, but rather online through the Scotweb system. Twenty student's IS abstracts are featured from page eight to thirteen. English professor, Daniel Bourne is featured along with a few of the poems he has written. Professor Anne Nurse's sociology class, Criminology and Deviance, is highlighted for the fact that half of the class is made up of inmates from the Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility. The next story in the magazine is abut Mark Denbeaux '65 and his son Josh '90 who fight for human rights as attorneys in Guantanamo. Birt Babcock's ('94) legacy story is on page twenty-eight and twenty-nine. The Class Notes section is from page thirty to sixty-three.

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the fall of 2005. The magazine begins with an introductory piece by the editor, Lisa Watts, on her experience with the mentorship program. The Viewpoint section touches on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. John Dean '61 opened the 2005 Wooster Forum series by criticizing the Bush administration. The radio station, now called WOO 91, has been undergoing renovations for the past year and they are finally complete. Five student leaders in religious groups on campus are featured from page ten to fifteen. Four alumni that work some way with religion are featured: Rev. Donald Register '59, Julia Jones '97, Rev. Henry Hopper '58, and Kristen Leslie '83. The article from page 28 to 30 is on, "The Zen of Throwing it Away." The last part of the magazine has Class Notes.
