Description

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the fall of 2010. Karol Crosbie begins the magazine with an article about Billy Clyde’s special education students that had visited campus and made chalk art. 626 first year students were welcomed to campus this fall. A section titled "Special Educators" highlights alumni working as teachers in various areas: Tom Gilbert '73, David Coogan '90, Holly Water Kerby '77, Conya Doss '92, and Billy Clyde '73. The next section of the magazine features some bagpipers before and after Wooster. "Dogs With Purpose" follows the bagpiping section. This section highlights alumni that are working with dogs: Cameron Maneese ’79, Tom Van Cleef ’83, Liz Fridley ’12, and Jim and Jane Wallace Anderson ’51. One tradition that no longer exists, beanies, is discussed next.
