Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate specific concerns of parents who have children using high-tech augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. Specifically, I will investigate parental concerns related to the AAC device, including training, resources of time and money, and integration of the device into the community and school setting. The researcher will also study parental concerns concerning the two professionals working most with their children: teachers and speech-language pathologists.
