Description
This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the winter of 1992. The introduction begins with a piece called “In Darien,” and it's about clearing up any questions about the Introduction to Women’s Studies class. The topic of Women’s Studies is continued in the next article and it’s about the female staff at the college. “Participating in a Radical Tradition: Women Faculty 1880 - 1960,” is about the female staff that helped shape the college as it exists today. “Challenging Perceptions,” tells the origins of Introduction to Women’s Studies and how it was originally called Women in Contemporary America back in 1977. The piece ends with Women in Sports, alumni notes, births and obituaries.
