Description

This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the fall of 1991. The piece begins with “Liberal Arts in the 21st Century” which talks about the beginning of the new century and how knowledge is expanding about the intellectual, moral and aesthetic standards. With the 125th anniversary of Wooster’s founding, the writers chose to reflect upon the joys and challenges of teaching and scholarship in the last decade of the twentieth century. “Only Dreamers Could Have Seen a College,” is a piece about how the College of Wooster was built. The issues ends with alumni notes and obituaries.
