Description
In the headline article "Petition asks Cornwell to sign Climate Commitment," students on campus collect signatures for President Cornwell to work to create a timeframe for the college to become carbon neutral, according to the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment (ACUPCC). Other news article include "Wayne County loses housing assistance grant," disucssing the loss in the CHIP grant for the county, and "Alison Bechdel to visit campus." The Features section looks at a new conservative organization on campus called the Young Americans for Liberty and an event hosted by Men of Harambee focusing on dating and hook-up culture on campus.
