Description

This edition of the College of Wooster's student run newspaper was published on October 3 of 2008 and it is eight pages long. The heading article on the first page discusses the bill that the Senate just passed regarding the financial system. The Writing Center will be helping with specialized topics this year in a new program. On September 27, John McCain and Barack Obama had their first presidential debate at the University of Mississippi. A white pickup truck that was driving by campus shot a BB gun, a student alerted campus security. After a lengthy battle with cancer, actor and philanthropist Paul Newman passed away last week. Athletic updates for the past week are highlighted on pages seven and eight of this edition of the College of Wooster's student run newspaper.
