Description

This edition of the Wooster Voice, published on February 26 of 2010, is eight pages long. The men's basketball team will be playing this weekend for the NCAC title. An article on the first page reflects upon Black History Month and its past. Over spring break, the bookstore, copy center and registrar's office will have extended hours in order to accommodate the needs of seniors working on their IS. Nine Wooster students will be heading down to Tijuana, Mexico to help build houses for those in need. The trip is sponsored by Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster. Madelyn Halstead and Elle Bloom wrote an article on page four about the figure skaters that made history in the 2010 Olympic Games including Evan Lysacek. This year's Gala, planned by WAC, will have the theme of the Roaring 20's. Michael O'Duffy replies to the typical Irish stereotypes. Freedlander Theater currently has "Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off," by Liz Lochead on its stage. The weekly athletic updates are from page seven to eight.
