Description
This edition of the College of Wooster's student run newspaper was published on September 19 of 2008 and it is eight pages long. The first page of this edition is dedicated to Senator Joe Biden's (and vice presidential nominee) visit to campus this past Wednesday. The outer effects of Hurricane Ike were seen in Wooster with the high winds, fallen trees, and fallen power lines on Sunday September 14. A major company and employer in Orville, American WeatherSeal, closed its doors permanently leaving upwards of 100 people without jobs. Senior Robert Ippolito spent his summer in Bolivia working with pumas, jaguars, and many other animals. Professor Dale Seeds has wrote a play about Chenega tribe of Alaska. Athletic updates for the past week are highlighted on pages seven and eight.
