Description
This volume is intended, "To impart that information by which anyone may be enabled to acquire gentlemanly ease, or graceful ladylike deportment, so that their presence will be sought for, and they will not only learn that great art of being thoroughly at home in all societies, but will have that rarer gift of making every one around them feel easy, contented and happy." This second part of the book includes chapters about courtship and marriage, home life etiquette, table etiquette, miscellaneous etiquette rules, Washington etiquette, business, anniversaries, funerals, dress, the toilette, and recipes for toilette (for removing freckles, or to prevent hair turning gray, etc.).
