The Effect of Rest on Soccer Match Outcomes in the Premier League

Abstract

The objective of this project is to predict matches at the Premier League level based on rest and scheduling. By collecting large data sets and using specific models, we can see the impact rest has within bookmakers' odds and how much rest impacts predictive match outcomes using an Elo rating system.
