Abstract
With purposeful design, user interface (UI) can be a powerful tool to influence human behavior and interaction outcomes. This Independent Study (IS) project seeks to exploit this concept through the use of games applications whose UI are strategically designed to promote memory stimulation in persons with mild dementia and early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. As a secondary goal, this paper also aims to provoke in its readers, a deeper awareness of the vast potential of UI in impacting the user experience.
