Abstract
One of the most important aspects of sports is the ranking of teams. This study takes a look into Massey's method, Colley's method, and Keener's method, and some partial extensions of each in order to better understand how ranking systems apply to sports, and also to gain a general idea on which system is stronger in certain areas for predicting winners of Major League Baseball games.
