Abstract
This Independent Study examines the genre of the young adult dystopia and how it has presented a progressive view of the dystopian genre as a whole through a discussion of technology, mind control, and rebellion within Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy as well as Beth Revis' novels Across the Universe and A Million Suns.
