Abstract
Route 28 is a linked collection of short stories about women of different ages. The collection includes multiple stories about five women who are connected through common relationships with people and by living in Pittsburgh. The story collection is preceded by a critical introduction which serves as an analysis of the characters, stories, and story writing process.
