Abstract
This project examines how minor league baseball team marketing practices can be strategically designed to cultivate a large and loyal fan base. Drawing on media and communication frameworks, including Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and semiology, the project investigates how branding, visual identity, and promotional strategy function within sports media enterprises. This project applies these theoretical frameworks to the creation of a mock minor league baseball team developed from a comprehensive marketing perspective. The creative component of my I.S. includes the design of brand identity elements, promotional materials, and strategic planning assets produced through industry standard design software like Adobe Suite. These materials are integrated into a cohesive website platform that documents and contextualizes the creative decisions. By translating academic theory into applied marketing design, this project demonstrates how media frameworks may inform audience engagement strategies and provides insight into the unseen strategic processes behind sports branding and fan development.
