Abstract
The purpose of this study is to understand how museums can be used as a means of promoting social awareness through the reflection of different societal values. Through participant observation and in-depth interviews, this project explores the values exhibited by Empowering Women: Artisan Cooperatives That Transform Communities and the strategies used by museum administrators to convey these values to the greater community.
