Abstract
This Independent Study explores the beginnings and contemporary trends of the genre of Land Art. It examines the potential that the Earthworks movement unlocked and how it is being addressed in later forms of Land Art, such as Andy Goldsworthy's body of work and Theo Jansen's Strandbeests.
