The college has acquired property with a house from the late Mrs. J. S. R. Overholt in which the Conservatory of Music will be moving to. The 1941 Index was awarded the All-American rating by the National Scholastic Press at the University of Minnesota. This semester, 865 students are enrolled at the college. Holden basement and Kenarden dining rooms will be experiencing Co-ed dining beginning on October 6. Fifty-six men from the 1940-1942 have entered the Army.
