The Urban Studies major draws principles from Economics, Political Science and Sociology, with its primary focus being the relationships and structures which influence how people work with one another in urban environments.
Recent IS topics include a study of the correlation between quality of life and parks in Chicago and power dilemmas of Black mayors in major American cities.
