Description

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, President Anne McCall was inaugurated as the 13th president of The College of Wooster. The Board of Trustees welcomed students, faculty, staff, and alumni as well as community and higher education leaders from around the country for Saturday’s ceremony at 10 a.m. in Gault Recreation Center of Scot Center. Those in attendance heard from President McCall as she shared her vision for the future of the College in her Inaugural address. Presided over by Sally Staley, chair of the College Board of Trustees, speakers for the ceremony included greetings from alumni by Angela Triplett, president of the Alumni Board; from the community by Gabe Tudor, superintendent and CEO of Wooster City School District; and from the academy by Gilda Barabino, president of Franklin W. Olin College.

The first photograph depicts President McCall during her inaugural address. The second photo displays Sally Staley and President McCall. The third photograph depicts President McCall surrounded by Sally Staley and President Gilda Barabino. The fourth, and final, photograph displays President McCall with past Wooster presidents, Interim President Wayne Webster, past President Sarah Bolton, and past President Grant Cornwell.
