Description
This book is a volume dedicated to the explanation of American etiquette, with some consideration given to the distinctions between American etiquette and "Old World" etiquette. This last section of the book discusses entertainments, floral arrangements, proper silverware usage, table linens, servants' duties, the organization of homes with servants (one, two, or many), manners for shy people, treatment of guests, ladies and gentlemen, manners of the past, English manners, how to treat English people, foreign table manners, and house parties.
