Description
This novel covers the achievements of human kind up until this point from various nations including social, moral, intellectual, and material inventions. This part includes Book III through Book V. Book three is titled, "Vivid Array of Facts Concerning Different Nations," which covers exploration, the postal service, the big trees in California, and different facts about many countries. Book four uncovers, "A Thousand Things Well Worth Knowing," including: fire-fighting, coal, preserving flowers, theater, logging, etc. The fifth book is titled, "Solid Food for Sound Minds: Reading That Makes One Wiser and Happier."
