Description
The main design of "Memoir of Mrs. Elizabeth McFarland or Full Assurance of Hope - the Reward of diligence in the Christian Life" by Nathaniel Bouton is to illustrate the scriptural truth, that full assurance of hope in regard to one's own salvation, is the fruit and reward of faith in Jesus Christ - the atoning Savior - combined with the diligent practice of every christian duty.
This part of the memoir talks about Elizabeth's interest as a missionary, what she did as a school teacher and letters from the last seven years of her life
