Dear family.

Am in chapel. We are discussing “Dancing in Wooster” this morning. Last Monday night we had discussion groups and discussed it. There are quite a few against it but the majority is for it. I am against it but there are many strong arguments for it.

Here are the results of the vote at chapel this morning - 400 for dancing and 200 against dancing - The spirit in chapel was disgusting. Of course the majority was for dancing in Wooster and when the student speakers against dancing got up - there was quite a lot of murmuring & razing. It was disgusting - - certainly a poor spirit. I think - if a vote was taken in other schools - they would never get the minority we did in proportion. It certainly is commendable to the school.

The Glee club gives its concert Thursday night. Have a date with a senior - student volunteer, who is about 25 yrs old - & who has taken Boots out quite a few times. He is engaged but his girl doesn’t live here,- if she did I wouldn’t have a date with him - but its alright as it is. As yet Boots has no date for the concert - Everyone goes.

The Cosmopolitan Co. gave an operalogue yesterday in chapel.

Had to have a Physical examination for the “Board” I didn’t know I was in such wonderful health pulse 72 - Hearth normal - also blood pressure. Will not cost much for the examination as the Dr. Douglass I went to so the one whose wife I have been [unclear] toiling [/unclear] for & I spoke to him about it. Maybe will get it free

The popcorn was so good & thanks for all that soap. I surely have no excuse for not washing now. Am going out for track - that will mean strict training. Made 150 points toward my “W” three. B.B. -The Northern Ohio student volunteer conference is being held in Wooster this week end - so every minute will be taken up. We are going to double up and take a delegate in our room.

Hope Dad doesn’t forget about my 4 yr. diary - Would like it as big as he can get it. Am anxious to know what you want me to do Spring vacation.

Must take a vocal lesson at 1:30 so will have to stop to get this letter

off this afternoon . . Wish the kids would write. It is warm out but there is lots of snow on the ground.

Muchhhh Loveeee

Mary E Behner.
