Abstract

In my IS I ask how American Foreign Policy evolved from 1945-1954, during the First Indochinese War in Vietnam. Throughout that time span there were three different presidents in office, each with a different foreign policy that eventually led the United States into the Vietnam War. I answer the question of, how did America get committed to Vietnam?
