Dear Folks:

Here a photo of Lt. Kable and I and the Ingolstadt police Dept.

There are some other photos which I have the negatives for, which I am trying to get pictures made of here. As soon as they are finished, I’ll send you the negatives.

Right now I am trying to write a 200 word statement on “Why I want to enter the Foreign Service.”

This ^(last) Saturday nite and Sunday Brady ^(interpreter), Mr. and Mrs. Runte ^(Mayor) and Herr ^(Mayor’s 7B9 man) Sonner ^(and I) went out to a Hunting Lodge he ^(Runte) confiscated for Brady and I ^(me). It is really the Ritz. Belong to Herr Sweckhorst, the NAZI Party Organizor for Greece and Turkey. We had a marvelous 36 hrs.
