Description

On Monday May 11 at ten o'clock, the commencement of 1998 took place on The Oak Grove. The Scot Pipers led the procession and the recession. This year, the presiding president of the college was President R. Stanton Hales. For the first time, the college offered Latin Honors: summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude. This is offered to those with a gpa of 3.5 or greater. It also contains those whose degrees were conferred on October 18, 1997.
