Description
This edition of the Wooster Voice, a student run newspaper, was published on September 28 of 2007, and it is eight pages long. A rally last Thursday sponsored by the Black Students' Association, the college chapter of the NAACP, and the Wooster-Orville NAACP was regarding the "Jena 6' controversy. President Cornwell has a goal to connect with the student body, he is even advising a philosophy IS. The Wooster Volunteer Network hosted "Volunteer Week" this past week. One of the First Year Seminar classes, taught by Thomas Prendergast, deals with the history of food and cannibalism. Artist Alison Saar was on campus on Tuesday for the exhibition, "The Harriet and Harmon Kelley Collection of African American Art: Works on Paper and Selections from the AT&T Art Collection." The athletic updates for the past week are on pages seven and eight.
