Description

This edition of the College of Wooster's student ran newspaper, the Wooster Voice, was published on March 2 of 2007, and it is eight pages long. Presidential candidate and senator Barack Obama visited Cleveland, speaking at the Cuyahoga Community College's gym on Monday evening. On February 26, Emily Todd, Wooster alum '03, lectured in the Kauke tower on, "Role and Identity in Grassroots NGOs: Personal Lessons from Nicaragua." The final lecture of the Great Decision's Lecture Series was given by Professor Akwasi P. Osei of Delaware State University. The final two candidates for the registrar position are Suzanne Bates from DePauw University, and Cherie Hatlem from Albion College. A member of the Voice staff, Laura McHugh, gives a reflection on her time in Vienna on page four. A Sadie Hawkins dance on March 3 is being sponsored by the Women of Images. Currently on display on the Lowry art wall is Larry Kirkwood's Body Image Project as part of "Love Your Body Week." The weekly athletic updates are from page seven to eight.
