Description
This edition includes an article declaring the 1950 Homecoming Queen at the college along with a photograph of her. Another article discusses the activities being conducted and organized by the Student Senate in preparation for the upcoming Homecoming. The Crusade for Freedom movement is still gathering significant support, and the newspaper discusses recent achievements, bringing the Crusade goal at the half-mark. Another article lists and describes the selection process of this year’s class leaders, which had a record turnout compared to previous years. The section dedicated to World News Roundup discusses the activities of the UN, marking Indonesia as the 60th nation to join the UN, and describing the UN General Assembly’s most recent resolution regarding the events taking place in Korea. The highlights of football games are recounted and scores listed on the third page of this newspaper. Advertisements from local businesses and the Wooster community are distributed throughout the course of the newspaper.
