Description
This edition of the newspaper includes an article describing the New Chapel Rules that had been proposed on Campus. The Student Senate, according to the article, sent a draft of the same to the SFRC. Another article details the top five Queen Nominees who are vying for the crown. In an interview described in an article, Dean Young clarified college drinking rules, clearly stating that student drinking is a problem on any college campus. Another article congratulates the History Fraternity on initiating 7 members. The section dedicated to Summary of World News, discusses Congress’s over-riding of the presidential veto of the new anti-Communist legislation. This discussion over communist influence was also an issue at the UN General Assembly according to the World News section. The third page of the newspaper is dedicated to Wooster athletics, thus recounting football games and listing scores for those students who were not able to attend. Advertisements from local businesses have been distributed throughout the course of the newspaper.
