Description
This edition includes an article describing the process of seniors nominating potential Homecoming Queen candidates. In preparation for Homecoming, the casting for the first dramatic production of the year has been completed, the results of which were discussed in an article. Interestingly, another article discusses the existence of a miniature UN Assembly, which was in constant session at Wooster during the course of the fall semester. The article specifically described the Twelve Nations represented by new students. The section dedicated to Summary of World News discusses the landing of UN forces on the coast of South Korea. The Atlantic Pact meeting was also discussed in regards to the Big Three Policy towards Germany. The Men’s Self Government Association’s decision to hold off on the ruling on evening apparel at the Kenarden Dining hall was debated in another article towards the latter half of the newspaper. Advertisements from local businesses and the Wooster community have been distributed throughout the course of the newspaper.
