Description
This edition of the newspaper includes an article on the speaker of the eightieth commencement exercises, Robert E. Wilson, introducing him in great detail. Another article informs the student body of the recently elected Crowe President by MSGA. Highlights from the coronation ceremony of Queen Pat, the recently elected May Queen was discussed in an article, which included a photograph of Queen Pat, along with seven former Color Day May Queens. Since this edition was the last issue of the Voice that semester, the editorial addressed the student body describing the few aims he had in mind while writing that semester, along with a few general problems he encountered. Another article informed the college of the upcoming election of the inter-club officers, who will be chosen from the recently elected officers, a list of which was included. The third page of the newspaper was dedicated to the highlights of the athletic department’s activities that week, most significantly describing the big loss that the track team faced against Denison earlier that week. Advertisements from local businesses have been distributed throughout the newspaper.
