This issue of the Wooster Voice is the first edition of the 1947-1948 academic year. Page 1 features a report on the size of the Wooster student body, at 1290, this was the largest size the body had ever reached at this point. Also featured is a report on an annual sack race between sophomores and freshmen, and campus elections. Page 2 features comedy pieces, a fashion column, greek updates, and a report on the refusal of the incoming freshman class to follow the hazing rituals of Wooster. Page 3 is the sports section, and page 4 contains continued articles, campus elections, and advertisements.
