Description
This edition advertises a lecture on the subject "Political and Religious Levels in the Present World Crisis" by Dr. Rheinhold Niebuhr. As well as for a lecture by Dr. Nejla Izzedin on "Arab Nationalism." The French play "Antigone and the Tyrant" opens at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland. Additionally, there is an article discussing the intellectual atmosphere in a college education. African American author Richard Wright will be giving a lecture called The American Negro Discovers Himself at the Center Auditorium in Akron. Two G.I.s talk about the time they ate K rations in the shattered remains of Berchtesgaden.
