The edition begins with an account of a trip to Africa by a Wooster student. One article reports the third place win of Wooster student J.W. Reeves, at the Ohio Oratorical Contest of the Intercollegiate Peace Association. There is a recap of a debate between Oberlin and Wooster, in which it was decided Wooster won. This issue discusses an upcoming play presented by the Willard Literary Society. Additionally, 20 female students at the college became sick after a group of male students put oil into the milk of the girls dormitory as a prank.
