Description
This issue opens with a recount of the inauguration of the thirty-seventh year of the college. Students, faculty, and visitors congregated in the chapel for the inaugural ceremony, hosted by Dr. Holden. An article outlining faculty changes for the academic year follows on the second page. There is also a large article detailing the new buildings and construction on campus. The article focuses on the construction of Frick (now Timken) Library, and mentions briefly the construction of a new girl's dormitory called Oak Cottage. This issue of the newspaper ends with information about athletics and athletic events, and a number of advertisements from local businesses.
