Description
This edition of the Wooster Voice begins with an announcement about Dr. Cook. On April 21st, 1908, Dr. Frederick Cook went to the North Pole and planted an American flag in the soil there. After this announcement, there is a poem by Waldo H. Dunn on the subject of planting a flag in a polar environment. The opening article for this issue depicts the convocation of 1909 and the introduction to the class of 1913. An article discussing the new football coach follows on the pages after. The issue ends with advertisements for a number of local businesses.
