Three hours before dawn, sophomores woke the freshman for the 1951 Run Out where the freshman are put through humiliating tasks like cleaning the stairs with a toothbrush, and running, calisthenics, and singing. The Student Faculty Relations Committee discussed the expansion of the Student Union. Beverly West, Jane Leber, Mary Limbach, Fleur Kinney, and Wylene Young have been nominated to run for Homecoming Queen. The Little Theater will be performing Shakespeare's Hamlet for Dad's Day weekend. The editor of the 1952 index, Whit Weihe, has announced that the theme will be progress.
