"Portraits and Principles of the World's Great Men and Women with Practical Lessons on Successful Life by over Fifty Leading Thinkers" is designed and arranged by William C. King. This book points out and illustrates the principles that govern those who succeed and make the most of life and its possibilities (description on page 9 of the part one PDF). The goal of the writing is to help readers achieve their goals and lead successful lives. Each chapter, of which there is 100, is written by a different "self-help" author. Part one of this collection includes the preface, table of contents, introduction, author descriptions and photographs, publishers’ introduction, and photos of other inspiring individuals. Part one begins the collection of chapters starting with chapter one “Our Noblest Birthright.”
