Solo Voice Recital: Baroque to Contemporary

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to aid a performer’s journey toward completion of a traditional solo recital and to fulfill the requirement of a B.A. Music Performance major. This paper will provide historical, harmonic, and text analysis for each of the pieces in the program, which covers the Italian Motet to Contemporary Operetta.
