Description
This issue of the Wooster Voice headlines the appointment of Clark Bricker as the new Dean of Wooster, an upcoming Sunday lecturer in the chapel, and an organ recital. Page 2 features a report on student government elections, a report on the actions of the House Committee on Un-American Activities, and a tongue in cheek guide to traveling in England. Page 3 features a report on a meeting of the Board of Trustees, from which the Voice was barred from participating, and a Wooster performance of a play based on the Scope's Monkey Trial. Page 4 features a report on the Peace Corps and Dean's List of students achieving a high GPA. Page 5 is the sports section. Page 6 headlines a program run by Wooster allowing students to study for their Independent Study in New York with access to a greater library and more materials. Also prominently featured is a report on other colleges in Ohio, with a particular focus on race relations at said colleges.
