Description
This eight page edition of the Wooster Voice features a report on the Democratic primary for the Cleveland mayoral candidate and Wooster's student involvement with Carl Stokes's victory. Also featured is a report on Latin seminars being offered at Wooster, and local campus news. Page 2 features a report on the Wooster bulletin board, and a piece calling for Wooster to participate in political discourse, but to do it respectfully and to avoid some of the student protest excesses present at other colleges. Page 3 features commentary on hymns used in chapel services, and a proposed disciplinary system for campus rule violations. Page 4 features a report on student experiences in Yugoslavia, and the deans list. Pages 5-6 are the sports section. Page 7 features a report on an upcoming play performed by the Wooster Theater Company. Page 8 is comprised of continued stories and advertisements.
