Description
This edition includes an article on a talk given by Erica Mann on the Horrors and Heroes of War. Another piece of work describes Dr. Johnston's speech at chapel based on Mumford's The Passive Barbarian which blames human weakness for war. This edition also includes a very interesting letter sent by Bill Alrich to Wooster from India discussing the different festivals celebrated by Hindus and Muslims during that time of the year. A comic strip depicts Queen Elizabeth, titled Coming Clean. The third page of the paper is dedicated to sports, recounting games, listing scores and providing updates on the various teams. Advertisements from local businesses are scattered throughout the newspaper.
