Description
This edition includes an article on the women on campus who were knitting clothes for the American Red Cross to help children in Great Britain. Another article recounts record times of Wooster's CAA Flyers as the main attraction of the weekend. One of the first articles on the front page is called Wooster Prepares for Big Week-end, describing the twenty-second annual Homecoming celebration. Another article describe freshmen's election of their "Lowry President", whilst a musical group on campus, Fortnightly, held their initiation meeting that week. A comic panel is included from the series called Campus Camera. Advertisements from local businesses are scattered throughout the newspaper.
