Description
This edition includes an article called Japanese Closure of Burma Road Brings War Threat to United States, discussing the events taking place between the two countries as they inch closer to war. Another article calls for peace time mandatory conscription of men between the ages of 21 and 35. Two other articles discuss conscription, with one questioning its necessity whilst another discusses the wide variety of opinion on conscription in other colleges. This newspaper also includes an article on sophomore men and black robed women intimidating freshmen. A comic panel from the series called Campus Camera has been published in this edition. Advertisements from local businesses are distributed throughout the newspaper.
